What We Do: Over 10,000 people served each year, including victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse; youth aging out of foster care; homeless preschool children; and women in jail.

Support Groups for Victims/Survivors of Domestic Violence

These support groups are for adults who have experienced, or are experiencing emotional, verbal, or physical abuse (domestic violence) in their lives. Most groups are for women, with the exception of the GBT support group for male-identified domestic violence victims. Pre-registration is not required. If you would like more information, call 360-696-0167 or our 24-hour hotline, 360-695-0501. Childcare is provided at the following support groups:

Legal Advocacy Program

No cost, please call 360-696-0167 for an appointment.
The Legal Advocacy Program provides support, information and assistance to victims of domestic violence. The Legal Advocate can guide a client through the court system, i.e., they can accompany clients to court for arraignments, hearings, trials, etc., and can help to identify services available to victims. The Legal Advocate can also provide information and assistance to obtain a protection order, an anti-harassment order, or other legal documents. Please call one of our advocates at 360-696-0167 for additional information.


Advocacy-Based Counseling

No cost, please call 360-696-0167 for an appointment.
These are individual counseling sessions with an advocate trained in domestic violence issues. Sessions will provide support, education, and information & referral to community services for women who are, or have been, victims/survivors of verbal, emotional, and physical abuse (domestic violence). Please call 696-0167 for an appointment with a Domestic Violence Advocate.


SafeChoice Domestic Violence Class

Registration required. Please call (360) 696-0167 to find out when registration for the next class begins. There will be a $15 material fee due at sign-up; space is limited to 12 participants. The class takes place on Monday evenings for 8 weeks. The class is intended for victims of domestic violence.

  • Dysfunctional Childhood Legacy
  • Anger
  • Boundary Setting
  • Grief, Fear and Guilt
  • Goal Setting
  • Healthy Relationships


LGBTQ Services

SafeChoice offers services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning people who are victims or survivors of domestic violence. We offer one-on-one advocacy-based counseling as well as two support groups, one for LBT female-identified survivors and one for GBT male-identified survivors. Speakers are available to educate on violence and abuse in Queer relationships. For more information, please call 360-696-0167.
